      • Contacting Department 7 – Messages may not be left when calling Dept. 7 and all questions for Dept. 7 must be in written format, CC’d to all counsel/parties in the case. Please email your question to Dept. 7 at dept07@contracosta.courts.ca.gov or fax your question to Dept. 7 at (925) 608-0694.
        You may appear by Court Call for most hearings. Instructions to sign up for Court Call are located on the following page: Court Call Information
      • Pre-trial Order and Instructions (Jury/Court)
      • Law & Motion (Instructions for Contesting Tentative Rulings in Dept. 07): The tentative ruling will become the Court’s ruling unless by 4:00 p.m. of the Court day preceding the hearing, counsel or self-represented parties email Department 07 to request argument and to specify the issues to be argued. Counsel or self-represented parties requesting argument must advise all other affected counsel and self-represented parties by no later than 4:00 p.m. of his or her decision to appear to argue and of the issues to be argued. Failure to timely advise the Court and counsel or self-represented parties will preclude any party from arguing the matter (See Local Rule 3.43(2)).
