Unclaimed Funds
The Superior Court of California, County of Contra Costa is holding a total of $201,665 in its Operations Fund that has remained unclaimed for more than three years. These are uncashed checks the Court had issued to jurors and vendors. Pursuant to Government Code section (GC) 68084.1, these funds will become the property of the Court on March 24, 2023.
If you had served as a juror with the Court or was a Court vendor and believe you are entitled to any of these funds, you may take the following steps to submit a claim by March 24, 2023:

Use our names search to check for your name and the amount of unclaimed funds owed to you.
- If you found your name, you may submit a claim for the amount listed. Review the following instructions on how to submit a claim

- Complete and sign the Claim Affirmation and Claim for Reimbursement forms, and attach the documentation required in the instructions. (For most individuals, we only require a copy or picture of your DMV-issued driver’s license or ID card.)

Submit the completed forms and required documentation to the Court by mail or e-mail.

The Court will only consider claim submissions postmarked by March 24, 2023, and anticipate processing your claim in April 2023.
